Syncplay Interface
Interface for Syncplay, which allows for video playback to be synchronised with other VLC users
Syncplay synchronises video playback across multiple instances of VLC so that a group of people who all have the same videos can watch them together. Pausing, unpausing and jumping position within a media player is all synchronized, giving everyone connected to the same virtual room a shared viewing experience.
To use Syncplay with VLC, users need the Syncplay interface module for VLC. The interface allows Syncplay to query VLC as to what video the user is playing and their position, as well as whether the video or not the video is paused. Furthermore, it allows Syncplay to play, pause and seek within the video, load a new video, and display messages on the OSD.
Version 0.2.6 of the interface should be installed by default when you install Syncplay, but if it is not then you can install it manually. Place the syncplay.lua file in the main (all user) VLC /lua/intf/ sub-directory (or the single user directories). By default the main directories are:
* Window: %ProgramFiles%\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\intf\
* Linux: /usr/lib/vlc/lua/intf/
* Mac OS X: /Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/share/lua/intf/
You will need to use Syncplay 1.3.0 for proper VLC support.
Compatible with VLC 2.2.1+

Resume Media V3.23 for Windows
Provides handy, all-purpose tables of media/playlists with resume positions and video-adjust parameters. Windows Version 3.22
See Resume Media V3 at http://addons.videolan.org/content/show.php/Resume+Media+V3?content=165231 for complete description...Resume Media has over 60,000 downloads and 70% approval rating at that site.
Resume Media detects the stopped positions of all video and audio files in VLC and saves the positions in a table. When you restart, say, a video in VLC, Resume Media detects it and automatically moves the slider to the saved position. When the video completes, the entry is removed from the table.
The Resume Media dialog window allows you to sort or play the entries in a table or to switch tables. You can import the VLC playlist to a table, auto-adjust a video picture and much more...
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
A table can be used as a playlist for, say, a tv series or a music album. The resume feature then allows you to play and stop and quickly resume whichever entries interest you at the time until you have finally completed the list. Sort the list to see which entries you have started.
You can import and save top level playlists or directories into a table. Then, when you are ready, move one entry to VLC, expand it, and then import the media list back to a different table for execution.
